11/23: The kicking game for both of these teams shined tonight as deep kickoffs pinned the opposing team deep in their own ends and then failed drives resulted in punts as neither team could score. With 43 seconds left in a scoreless first half, a North Haven punt was returned from midfield by Amity for a touchdown.

An Amity flag from the ball carrier was laying on the ground back near midfield but it was ignored for some reason and the touchdown was allowed to stand. The score was 7-0 Amity at halftime.

The Lady Spartans scored another touchdown in the fourth quarter to open a 14-0 lead. North Haven would respond with a nice drive to score a touchdown of their own to narrow to deficit to 14-7, but there was note enough time to score again and North Haven came up on the short end in this game.
